Ever since I can remember, I have always been creating. Whether it was crafting, drawing, sewing, or video editing; I have always had an art form in my life. I chose to pursue graphic design because it allows me to channel my creativity and artistic talents while creating a lasting impression. I am inspired by the thoughtfully curated details behind striking visuals, and the ability to make a positive impact. I love that I am able to make something eye-catching that has purpose and intent with each creative decision.
Although graphic design is my main passion, I have a soft spot for studio art. I believe it is important to step away from the screen and create something with your hands. Printmaking is one of my favorite mediums; it feels like graphic design without a computer. There is something calming about the smell of fresh ink and carving into wood, watching my design come to life.
I am a graduate of Miami University, Class of 2019. I earned my BFA in graphic design and two minors in 2D fine arts and art & architecture history.
Currently, I am a graphic designer based in Chicago. In my spare time, I enjoy taking on freelance projects of all sorts. Recently, I have had the pleasure of designing podcast cover art, medical infographics, golf club collateral, tattoo illustrations, as well as logo and brand development. Whenever I find time for myself, I work on passion projects. You can follow my progress on my Instagram, @aine.dillon.designs.
